Back-Breaking Beauty
360gal custom tank
This aquarium is at a daycare that previously had a local fish store maintaining it. The company didn't listen to what the client wanted at every turn and never actually maintained the tank. This project provided unique challenges with how tall it was so it was a lot of up and down a ladder. We're stocking it with discus, rummynose tetra, and shrimp. The wood was curated and hand picked from the Missouri River.
Underwater Forest
Redwood forest at home
This client had expressed the vision of the Redwood Forest. Every piece of wood and rock were hand picked specifically for this design. We used wood with reddish hues, petrified wood, and obsidian. It's stocked with nano fish to allow for scale in the aquascape.
River Scape
Peacock eels and parrot cichlids
This 75 gallon tank has been stocked with peacock eels, parrot cichlids, and a few angelfish. The client's desire was to have a simplistic river design with a lot of places for the parrot cichlids to create their territory and places for the eels to hide - so you may not be able to spot most of them. It's a lot of fun watching the behavior of all these unique fish.
A Unique Request
50gal tall tank
The client approached us to use their old stand, tank, and wood being it had sentimental value. We repainted to their choice of color and built the scape around the large piece of wood they required to be in the tank. We stocked with angelfish and ram cichlids; and chose tall growing plants to fill the space around the wood.
My home tank
One of many
This is my personal 30 gallon aquarium, but one of many tanks. This tank is constantly evolving as I test ideas within it. Many of the plants I sell are grown out of this tank as it's equipped with co2 and an aqua-illumination light. This was just the first of many iterations.
